This was our first cruise since March 2020 and Cunard delivered a wonderful experience.
The cabin (4043) was perfectly located and our steward most attentive.
We had a wonderful table in the restaurant with our friends at the aft with stunning views as we sailed.
The waiters were the most efficient we have ever experienced and most professional.
The itinerary was stunning and a welcome relief from the heatwave back home.
We enjoyed dancing each night in the Queen’s room although we would have preferred more sequence dancing which was much more popular.
Yes, there was covid onboard, yes my husband did go down with it.
But I don’t hold Cunard responsible and they looked after us exceedingly well.
My only gripe being passengers flouting the rules put in place to keep everyone safe – not wearing masks when requested or not wearing them properly, not isolating when they have symptoms and an ‘it’s only a cold’ attitude! Please, if you don’t want to cruise with covid restrictions in place then may I suggest you look at an alternative holiday so those that do can travel safely and responsibly.
