Caribbean April 2013 – WOW and amazing.
Sailed with RC/Princess and Cunard previously.
We were worried that the ship may be too large but in fact it was the best ship we have sailed on.
The staff, food, entertainment second to none – the Central Park area beautiful.
We sat outside Giovanni’s italian restaurant one night with the open skies and you could have been in any italian city! There are computer screens near every lift which are great for navigation around – you can tell how busy the restaurants are, what entertainment is on, where and what time.
Would recommend this ship and do not be put off by its size, when we sailed there were 6,198 passengers on board but dining room service first class and fast, no waiting in bars, we went to the theatre to see Chicago, which was first class.
So much to do and see and surprisingly always got a subed, even on seas days.
It never felt overcrowded at all.
You have to experience this ship.
The only downside was the connecting flights from Manchester to Heathrow – not enough time and we landed in Manchester at the same time the plane should have been taking off to Miami – luckily they held it for an hour.
We got to Miami OK but our cases followed 3 days later, RC were great and provided evening dress and tuxedo for the formal nights, laundrey vouchers, toiletries, t shirts and recovered our luggage at Nassau for us.
The Sheraton Beach Hotel overnight was very disappointing and would not return
