Overall the holiday was very good, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was good on the all.
However on the last Gala night they ran out of chocolate truffles and petits fours.
Surely the cooks, kitchen staff knew how many people to cater for! .
Our cabin was on the small side.
I would have liked twin beds but the cabin was too small to accommodate it.
however the bed was spacious, and there was an unobtrusive night light I missed the little goodies P&O used to give before covid .
The little squares of chocolate on the bed at night, the biscuits, the shower cap, etc,.
These little niceties made you feel special.
The cruise ship was very big which meant that everything had to be booked in advanced, as there were 8 of us, we sometimes had to wait for over 1 hour.
for a table to be free.
The sky walk for the children was a bit of a gimmick as it could only be used when the weather was fine and no wind blowing.
Our children who had been looking forward to doing it were very disappointed as they were not able to go.
The sports areas for the children were on the small side for the size of the ship.
On the positive, they were good talks by the Art gallery staff on artists such as Banksy, Lowry and many other modern less well known artists.
On the entertainment side the craft staff gave us some creative ideas such as painting with coffee granules and wine as an example.
The music was very loud unfortunately but there were some very interesting acrobatics performed in the Atriums by the theatre company.
The ports were interesting.
As I already mentioned overall it was a good cruise
