There was a lot to like on this cruise

Overall I enjoyed my cruise on Iona The ship is beautiful the staff were great and the food was brilliant However I would not give it five stars because a few things were not great Starting with the coach transfer which was terrible The whole experience was stressful and we did not arrive at Southampton u ntil 4.50 so not a great start On board I found the booking process for dining and entertainment too rigid When I am holiday I don’t like to plan my days too far in advance but found if we wanted specific entertainment we would have had to book even before we got on board I was disappointed that Gary Barlow cancelled last minute however the replacement artist was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed her show The return coach journey was no better as there was not enough room for all the luggage and did not leave Southampton until 11.30 I know P and O offer free coach transfer however the whole experience was unacceptable and I will not use this option again
