Just some personal cruise back I do not want it taken as negative -just constructive.
We did not like the ship we are big fans of the Queen Victoria.
This ship felt as if Cunard had increased passenger numbers at the expense of general areas eg the Queens room was half the size in spite of the increased number of passengers-the promenade deck was cramped no seating areas – the theatre was not as elegant.as Queen Victoria.
Good Points staff were 5 * – we were in the Queens Grill exceptionally good state room and five star plus (out of this world) dining experience.Its a shame that the Queen Victoria is not using Southampton as its main departure point mist of its future cruise are fly cruises.
I would not recommend Deck 8 as all the dining rooms are above this – quite a lot of noise ( cleaning during the night).
It a shame the most of Queen Victoria cruise are now fly cruise which means we will not be using Cunard again – bit thank you Bolsover for you 5* booking experiance.
