There was plenty to enjoy, but some flaws too

The destinations drew us to booking with P&O on the Azura.

The destinations certainly lived up to their expectations and throughly enjoyed each stop.

The lay out of the decks of the ship were excellent enabling us to choose the environment we wished to sunbathe in.

Unfortunately, the service on the ship was way below what we have previously experienced on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruises.

I never realised that being a vegetarian on a newish ship would be such a problem with only one vegetarian option available on our first evening.

After that, I was given menus each night by the head waiter to select my meal for the following eveing.

The food was average, over-cooked and on one evening came with a complimentary hair.

The entertainment was disappointing compared to our experiences with other companies – many evenings it amounted to nothing more than ‘Butlins-style’ caberet – very disappointing.

Public areas were not clean as I would have expected.

This cruise was the most expensive one we have done which was certainly not value for money.

We would not travel with P&O again despite their prestigious reputation.
