There was plenty to enjoy, but some flaws too

We felt that the ship was too large and felt clinical.

We were at the front of deck 10, which entailed a long walk to the MDRs.

One fellow passenger counted out 1100 steps between our cabin and the MDRs.

I can see the attraction for young people and families but being in our 70s with mobility issues (developed these after booking last year) didn’t make it easy negotiating around the ship.

We enjoyed the speciality restaurants but felt that service was slow in the MDRs.

The Headliners were a disappointment and we have seen better shows on previous cruises.

There was an awful American “comedienne” in the Clubhouse and I heard a lot of criticism from other passengers.

The Anderson bar was good for having a quiet drink although service again was slow at times.

We should be cruising on Iona at the New Year but have transferred to a different cruise after our disappointment with Arvia.
