There was plenty to enjoy, but some flaws too

The staff were excellent but the ship was too big for us with long distances to walk.

Having been cruising for 45 years, the P&O cruising experience is not what cruising used to be.

The experience is very “down market” and catering for the younger passenger who enjoy fast food and lots of bars and loud music.

Dining room menus were basic with a fish and meat course.

The beef was of poor quality and tough.

The entertainment was poor.

The 4 headliners productions were all repeats of what we had previously seen on Iona and Britain’s
and related over 2 nights.

The cabin was adequate but somewhat cramped.

We have decided that for any future cruises we will consider both Princess and Cunard or a smaller P&0 ship.

Sorry to be rather negative with our response but P&O have really gone down market and cut cots to the bone.
