1.
Ship, being new, is modern and in good condition as expected.
However the design we think is more suited to younger cruisers than us, it is louder and geared to activities.
2.
There are no quiet areas, always seems to be piped music playing.
We like a library or card room but none supplied.
3.
Seating, especially at night, was limited in the areas where there was entertainment.
The timings were such that one event finished as another started so.
Living from one to t( other found the seats were already taken.
4.
Entertainment was limited, main shows average although the illusionist was excellent, but in-house team show “Rockumentary” was far too loud.
We felt not enough alternative shows/performance.
Touring musicians very limited, could have included classical.
Using and jazz perhaps.
5.
Felt that the food was not as good as previous ships, main dining rather limited in each venue with standard fare each day.
Cafe top deck was soon filled and finding a seat at lunch time proved somewhat difficult.
Not able to have a regular main dining table same every night, whether sharing or not, is a miss for us.
6.
The design of the internal balcony is like a river boat cruiser, albeit novel, glad we were not on a sun seeking cruise where you want to sit “out”.
Filled in sides does limit the visibility, and, the electric blind either is open or shut as it lifts from the bottom.
Can’t peek out.
7.
Didn’t think cleaning/sanitising was as good as when covid was more recent, didn’t see cleaners cleaning or sanitising open areas, stairways, etc.
Table wiping was very limited and casual between users.
My wife and I came home with covid, believe caught on board (didn’t report it before disembarking, as we kept away from others on the last day).
