The ship is tired but we didn’t mind this.
The food and staff were excellent.
The organisation of mealtimes and constant queueing spoilt what is usually the highlight of a cruise for us.
Because of Freedom dining, only one tier of the restaurant is available and too many large tables.
Like many others, we couldn’t change our dining time or onto a smaller table and yet there were many spare tables on both sittings, even though we were told they were full up.
Even at breakfast we ended up on a table of 8 as we didn’t want to wait half hour for a table of two, and we walked past lots of empty smaller tables.
The entertainment was the worst we’ve experienced and we had to choose the times to go to the Crow’s nest in order to avoid the awful loud duo, which is not what you want when enjoying a cocktail.
It would be better to have the shows during first sitting for those on 2nd sitting as it was way too late for us, although fortunately there wasn’t much we wanted to go too- far too many tribute bands.
We had to ask several times for deckchairs to be put out on a very sunny day in port, as they were only around the pool and the loud pop/ disco music endlessly blaring out, was not what we wanted when reading and looking at the stunning scenery.
However, the port stops were brilliant, especially as you can walk straight off the ship with no need for excursions.
