Lovely ship but unfortunately not for us.
Balcony cabin excellent.
This is the first time cruising with P&O.
Having sampled other cruise lines we felt that the standard of food was not as good as we have previously experienced and the unavailability to pre book the restaurant via “MyHoliday” app was disappointing.
We found we were eating in the additional charge restaurants most evenings.
Lack of direction and interaction from staff i.e no introduction to theatre shows, pianoist (just came on did her slot closed lid and walked off) and other guest artists apart from the Limelight Club.
Lack of staff particularly in the bars, Celebration Night was a shambles no one taking charge.
Never have experienced this before always been well organised event.
Not the usual visibility of Officers around ship.
Overall arrived home feeling underwhelmed !! Felt like we had been on a “virtual cruise” and to finish it off we both came back with COVID irrespective of having undergone the stress and extra cost of the pre cruise Covid test the day before.
