Firstly, the crew, our cruise director, the cabin, the food etc were beyond amazing.
Unfortunately due to Mother Nature/weather, we were unable to sail straight away.
We did not move for 2 days and our cabin, and consequently our expensive balcony, overlooked a coach and lorry park.
We were dismayed to find that quite a few of the excursions we chose because they didn’t appear to include a lot of walking which I could no do because of health issues DID indeed require a great deal of walking.
Consequently I struggled or had to change the trips that I really wanted to do.eg the wine tasting and vineyard tour commenced with a 40 minute walk to the coach over cobbles which was NOT mentioned.
Also a lot of the time when we tied up at our next destination, we were together with one or sometimes 2 other ships.
This resulted in a hair raising clamber up and down steel stairs.
Hair raising for able bodied a nightmare for disabled.
We felt let down because of lack of information by Scenic.
