Cruise started ok but went downhill rapidly when we attempted to enter the dining room .
Even though we had a confirmed reservation we had to queue and that was repeated every night .
Also we had no fixed dining table and consequently had no rapport with the waiting staff .
We do not pay lots of money to stand in a queue .
If this is Princess cruises idea of progress then we will not cruise with them again .
The journey back to Southampton was a disaster as we were delayed for 5 hours because of a yacht race .
The captain and his senior staff must have been aware but most people had to make their own travel amendments with no help from Princess or the invisible Captain .
