This was the worst cruise that I have ever been on.
It was a disaster from beginning to end.
I felt heart sorry for the waiters, stewards, housekeeping staff and all the shop staff who had to put up with the sheer lack of organisation throughout the voyage.
P&O seem to have lost the plot forgetting that the older group of guests were/are the backbone of cruising and the younger generation will not put up with the likes of service we had to put up with on this voyage.
There was no ballroom dancing, no veterans meeting, no library, and no guest choir that is just the start.
Cabins have no drawer facility and you had to move the hospitality tray onto the bed in order to get to a plug to use the hairdryer and phone charger no toothbrush tumblers(they had not arrived before sailing).
This whole experience was a nightmare and do not get me on about the food!!!! Does the chef not know how to cook any other soup but tomato??????.
I for one will never ever take another cruise, especially with P&O.
I am selling all my beautiful evening wear and use the money for decent holidays in the future.
Goodbye cruising!!!!!
