First time on Iona.
Not the best of times to travel on a ship during the school holidays! The ship can be best described as Butlins on the water! For us it was too large and impersonal.
We didn’t get to know any of the staff, as it is all freedom dining.
I found it most annoying having to book everything including restaurants and theatre.
No wish to go on another large ship, looking forward to Aurora in January circumnavigation of South America.
