So we are first time cruises and this is our honest opinion after a week of reflection
We loved the boat, lots to see and do and there were a lot of things to join in with on the boat, most for free and some paid ones.
Boat
A massive galleria with an ever changing ceiling runs along the middle of the ship which was the main concourse with bars, cafes and shops off this.
This would be crowded at times but you could always get through with patience
Large theatre on board with three shows a day which were ok, although not west end quality.
Bars
There are quite a few bars on board which did seem to get very busy mostly we only ever had to wait up to ten mins to get served.
Most of the drinks were included in the drinks package with just a few minor exceptions
Main complaint from many guests was that there was just not enough seats which to some degree is not too surprising due to the capacity on board
The ship itself is very clean and the staff did an amazing job at keeping it clean
Cabin
We had a balcony cabin and loved this so that when we wanted to have some time on our own we could just relax in there and read etc
Comfy bed and plenty of storage.
The cabin was cleaned twice per day and the attendant/steward was very good at his job.
Food
Buffet always had a good selection of food on we thought and there was never a time where we didnt find something that we wanted to eat.
Like all places though this did get busy at times but we just tried to avoid the rush
Main Dining Room
There are Four on board and all served the same menu from what we could see
We thought the food was good on the whole on board and portions were just about right.
Food quality was pretty good although others nearby said the quality was poorer compared to other cruise lines
Staff were attentive on the whole
If you paid for Azure Class then you have a separate dining room with anytime dining but we cannot comment on that
Speciality DIning
We had two meals in speciality dining and these were quite poor considering the cost
Butchers Cut was the steak house and my steak was served cold which I had to send back ( I am not one for complaining but I cannot eat cold food)
My husband had red wine which was then seen to have two flies in this which the staff swapped quite quickly
Overall quite disappointing
Indochine – This was the ships Asian Fusion Restaurant and again another very poor experience
The food was just bland and no flavour to it at all
We did have a Birthday Celebration and paid for a cake which was very good and a nice experience with the staff singing Happy Birthday
We did enjoy the cruise but a few minor complaints re the food if we were to do it again we would skip on the speciality dining
