Our first ever cruise.
I received many emails reminding me to collect our luggage when we got off our flight in Malta.
I limited our luggage to one large case each because of this but as soon as we got to Gatwick we were told not to collect our luggage as it would be taken to the ship for us.
Why the misinformation?.
This meant I only had a small bag for my final day on the cruise as our cases were taken the night before we docked.
Really inconvenient and it would not have taken much to let me know this procedure before we left home
Our flight was delayed an hour which meant we were late arriving on board ship.
We rushed to thebuffet restaurant only to be told it was closed.
We then went to reception to ask where the restaurant was.
The man behind the desk pointed out where it was then said it was closed.
I explained we had just arrived and were hungry and he said ‘ oh dear’ So much for service.
The entertainment was ok not great.
The food was less than ok.
There was nowhere to sit in any of the bars if we went to the theatre entertainment first.
On a personal note I was freezing cold every evening as the air con was far too cold.
The sun beds were reserved with towels and belongings.
All in all it wasn’t a special experience.
I didn’t feel like a valued guest
