P&o wasn’t very organised when it came to boarding passes or flight check in details.
The new online checking in for the ship is better but state you can have it electronically but would definitely still print out as they stamp the printed boarding pass to allow you through security.
The ship is clean yet dated.
Meant to have a refit but didn’t see any evidence of this.
The entertainment failed to entertain me throughout the weeks holiday with some passenger karaoke being better than the one board entertainment acts.
The headline theatre company wasn’t great with only 3 shows the whole week and 2 out of 3 of those were hard to watch with dancers which didn’t know how to point toes and singers who barely hit correct notes.
The musical show was okay with the singer who sang ‘Let it go’ stealing and saving the show.
The food was good with a medium range of selection.
They’ve still got the hand sanitiser stations within the buffet and the tables are cleaned frequently.
There seems to be too many passengers on board for the ship to house.
Many times there were no tables left in the buffet and the usual lounger hogging on sea days.
The staff did take some towels off loungers if left unattended.
On sea days I felt bored with one or 2 quizzes and the odd singing act on top decks.
I have been on 2 cruises before and this was definitely the worst.
Then to top it off when I disembarked they took the cabin balance through a separate transaction even though they had tried taking the payments through the week cruise so I was down double from my bank account.
Spoke to customer service and this happens all the time apparently and it’s the banks fault that it appears that they’ve taken the amount twice.
Sent a silly link to explain because it obviously happens frequently, but gave me no information about how they would try and fix this.
My bank has advised that it can take up to 30 days to see the transaction void and then they can return the funds to my bank account.
Thanks P&O
