The ship had been mothballed for 3-months an its crew dispersed so some issues were to be expected, BUT queuing for an hour to get into the Meridian dinning room for a pre-booked 8.30 diner which we finished after 11:30PM! This happened on the first 2 nights after that just “lumpy” service.
The food in the dining room was mediocre – far better in the buffet The sound level of music in the cocktail and piano bars was so loud you could not talk to others and the waiters couldn’t hear your order.
Hygiene was poor we returned after 2-weeks with 25% of the ship positive for Covid! Absolut lack of Leadership – no signs of senior managers/officers and no acknowledgement that there was any problem.
This is NOT the Arcadia on which I had many pleasurable cruises pre pandemic – more like a floating holiday camp with very unhappy campers
