Overall enjoyed the cruise despite the covid restrictions The ship was not full which was nice no queues for venues plenty of sun beds and lovely wide decks Iona is a beautiful ship with no expense spared lots of places to sit on comfy furniture.
The food was delicious very generous portions in the restaurants only criticism was the extra cost for some places which I thought were overpriced.
The entertainment overall was good, however I did feel some things were designed for a younger audience and when looking at the demographics of the ship I did not feel this was not appropriate (90s dance anthems is definitely not my era).
Overall I liked the new app ‘my holiday’ which worked for us, we were able to book the theatre and restaurant at our convenience, but again I felt sorry for the older clientele who appeared to be struggling.
In summary I really enjoyed the experience.
P&O had worked very hard to adapt due to covid everywhere was spotless there was evidence of cleaning throughout.
The staff were lovely and seemed very pleased to welcome us back on board.
