First week we didn’t like and swore never to book Arvia again.
There were kids everywhere (check it’s not Scottish and Irish school holidays cos they break up early).
We had a day without a sunbed, all because we had a lie-in.
No beds anywhere, despite walking all decks several times.
Booking where we wanted to eat…
139 in the queue, was a nightmare.
But, in the second week, we learned to plan better, book early sittings, book speciality dining at different times.
Get up early to get a sunbed.
Find those venues that are child free.
Once we got to grips with that, we had a fabulous time.
We have booked to go again on Arvia, so not all bad, but definitely out of all school holidays so hopefully it will be a little quieter.
It just felt that for so many people on board, everything was just a but too small
