The cruise was great, we enjoyed all elements of it, although it would have been nice to have had more time in Cape Canaveral (even without the additional delay) and ideally have stayed late enough at Ocean Cay to see the light show on the light house.
Ocean Cay however was the highlight of the whole trip, really felt special and we managed to find a nice quiet beach, with the crystal clear waters and sun and the great snorkelling everyone in our family agreed it was our favourite day overall.
The ship itself was great, a lot of people but mostly didn’t seem overly busy.
Quality of the restaurant food was very good, although the buffet was mostly quite disappointing, lack of variance in what was on offer, particularly limited desserts and the busyness was really noticeable here.
Although we had an inside cabin we were happy with it, very comfortable and quiet, we slept very well.
A highlight of the ship was the entertainment in general.
Quality live music wherever you turned and the theatre shows were a step up from what we’ve seen on a cruise with another cruise line.
The only real negative I had was the white party and the fact it went on until 2am on the pool deck.
Three decks down and we could still hear it loudly, not ideal with children on a ship that was fairly catered to families.
Midnight would have been more acceptable.
We would travel with MSC and definitely cruise again in general!
