A preference to fly to Piraeus from a regional airport resulted in 2 whole days of wasted time waiting in airports.
These 2 travelling days were grim.
Fortunately the 6 days in between aboard the Silver Spirit were excellent.
I wouldn’t understate the part the crew played in the on board experience.
Every one was outstanding and gave the impression that they really enjoyed being of service .
It was a pity that we had to omit Mykonos owing to the weather especially as the cruise had already been shortened by 1 day.
