I have just come back from a Volcanic Islands & Portugal Cruise.
Right from initially joining the ship you could feel the great atmosphere amongst the passengers, very much influenced I feel from the amazing crew of Bolette.
Whilst not being a small ship, she is a world away from the city sized monsters that are now sailing the world, with a capacity of just under 1400 I personally felt this was just right.
The food couldn’t be faulted from any of the restaurants or room service, and the long island ice teas were the icing on the cake.
I would recommend Fred Olsen to anyone who likes traditional cruising like it used to be.
