After 30years of cruising i am afraid both new P&O ships are definitely not for seasoned cruisers more for the Benidorm set especially those who have managed to get cheap prices at the expense of the full paying guests.
As one of the staff said these are family ships not particularly for the elder end although this seems to be the majority on the ship.
I, unfortunately, sailed on Iona and was billoted on the rowdy promenade deck opposite what I called the fish tanks.
This time on Arvia it was the rock and roll deck 15.
Food ok but due to P&O cuts nothing like it was Entertainment poor and the entertainment staff looked as though they had been dragged on.
Luckily the weather was good.
