We flew to Malta and were boarded very quickly.
Our deluxe balcony cabin was nice but very dated.
Some areas of the ship are showing her age, carpets worn, scuff marks etc.
the food was excellent and our waiter booked a table for us every night, meaning we didn’t have to use that stupid App to book.
The App really needs either updated or preferably scrapped.
Entertainment on board was good though not exceptional.
Sindhu was closed sadly which was disappointing.
Staff as always were brilliant.
Cutbacks are obvious with Covid being blamed.
Sindhu, no turn down at night, no cocktail party etc.
The Captain was there as we heard him on the tannoy, but he was never seen.
In fact finding an officer at all was impossible.
Due to our loyalty tier we had a special lunch, where the Captain is due to welcome us, but apparently he was “too busy”.
The itinerary was excellent, Italy, Croatia Turkey and Greece and the weather was gorgeous.
In summary, a tired ship, desperately needing a refit, good food, great staff.
Cut backs are obvious and blaming Covid is being used as an excuse now.
