This trip had good moments and weak ones

I echo comments elsewhere on here about the Cunard Queen Victoria Canaries cruise.

The very first night, we had to leave the dining room table we were allocated due to noise and excessive vibration, not something we have experienced on this ship before.

An announcement was made that the ship would be going into dry dock in Cadiz for repairs and it transpired that this problem had been present for some time previously with attempts having failed to change the faulty propeller blade.

So we were on a very expensive cruise in which some of our time was used to cure a known fault, meaning time in Madeira was cut short and Lisbon missed altogether.

We really should have been informed before the cruise that this was to be the case, especially as a number of passengers we spoke to had arranged to meet friends in Lisbon.

Having experienced Christmas a number of times previously on this ship, it was obvious that standards have dropped markedly in all areas.

Cunard need to address this urgently.
