This was our 16th P&O cruise.
What has not changed is the excellent embarkation and disembarkation procedures, the excellent staff at all levels (my wife has mobility problems and the staff could not have more helpful) and the cleanliness of the cabins and ship.
What has changed is the gradual deterioration of standards and services provided.
These include :- No turn down of beds and pillow chocolate No biscuits with cabin tea tray No silver service at dinner A really dumbed down lunchtime menu in the restaurant No cruise log at the end of the cruise to remind you where you have been Dinner menus were boring and repetitive.
I could go on! On the entertainment and activities side was something for everyone.
I suppose it is all about filling every cabin on every cruise so financial savings are made to keep the costs down.
P&O are at risk of losing their loyal and faithful cruisers!
