We enjoyed the Aurora and gave a good review for food, entertainment and crew but unfortunately in our opinion the ship was not suitable for polar regions.
Corridors , some communal areas and Horizon restaurant were extremely cold.
We have complained about one excursion (Camp Aurora) which was badly organised in an unattractive “hall” given a 2 inch peace of cake and a cup of coffee.
The so called video show of the Northern Lights consisted of 10 repeated slides.
We were not given any information by the excursion leader.
The actual coach journey was approximately one hour and the total cost was £264.10.
We think the cost was disgusting !!.
You have probably heard that we had extreme weather conditions with broken restaurant windows and cabin windows.
This is the first cruise that I had felt frightened.
In fact I considered cancelling any further cruises.
