Sorry to say cleanliness standards on Britannia have slipped bathroom not properly cleaned on boarding and a bad smell coming from toilet also the cabin furniture was in need of a good clean up, house keeping crew seem to have been cut back, we know there would be quizzes on the cruise but now these are a mainstay of daytime entertainment, the daily Horizon newspaper is full of up selling and spa treatments and just how many people need a new watch? Extortionate prices in the shops how about £6 for a small tin of mint imperials, food in the main restaurants is basic and that’s being kind, food in the Glass House OK for battered fish and chips but avoid steak they just don’t know how to cook it, we were tempted by the description of the Marco Pierre White’s Cookery Club priced at £45 per head don’t bother that steak too was tough and tasteless, We’ve booked again for this Christmas on Iona 20th December and we all view it as P&O Cruises last chance.
