Staff were lovely.
Weather couldnot be helped but no extra entertainment added eventhough we missed 1st 2 ports and was at sea for almost 2 weeks.
If you wasn’t into quizzes knitting art or line dancing you spent most of your time in the cabin which had a small tv that had a out 9 channels mainly consisting of news sport or ship news.The entertainment was appalling.Shows in the theatre were laughable ( with the exception of about 4 acts which came on the last week of the holiday ) and almost everyone of them had droves of people walking out , especially the murder mystery which saw at least half the audience leaving long before it finished .
I have never spoken to so many people who felt the same way and said they had spoken to people who also felt that way.The ports we did get to visit were a waste of time with the exception of Roatan.Nothing where we docked unless you wanted to pay loads of money to get anywhere.
Forgot to mention the theatre company who were all very talented but do not feel they had much good material to work with and only performed about 6 times ?.
I will not being going on the Ventura again as feel it can only get worse ( it was my 2nd time on this ship ) AM contemplating going on a different cruise line as so many people raving about other one.Never cruised with another cruise line but don’t the money to throw away on a wasted time.Would appreciate it if you could let me know when these reviews go up as I know there will be hundreds of people who feel like I do.
