Several fellow passengers have referred to travelling on Arvia during school holidays.
It is truly horrendous.
Having sailed for decades with P&O this experience really tests your patience.
A lovely ship, friendly staff but putting up with a 1000+ kids where in the main their parents have no interest in controlling them we cannot ever repeat.
P&O do little to help, no enforcement of rules with seemingly managers tied by head office.
What company in its right mind allows kids into Epicurian fine dining, let alone free of charge ? Then allow parents to plat Pepa Pig on an iplayer at the table and bring along a scooter for the child to race around the restaurant on !!! No policing of sunbed blocking, they even block armchairs in the nearby shade to go with the sunbed for when it gets too hot.
Unruly teenagers filling the whirlpools on deck 8 (outside the conservatory balcony cabins) spewing out filthy language, all part of the rich tapestry that is Arvia in school holidays.
