The Coach from intercruises & following Embarkation on to Arvia were excellent.
The Arvia looked lovely and was really clean.
The Staff were pleasant enough mostly, Quite a few seemed like they were quite over worked, or just not enough hours in the day for their workload, And I could feel that being an empath.
As a Vegan going with Vegetarians, I chose to eat vegetarian for the fortnight as being Vegan for 20 years teaches you to survive in the situations were you’re simply not catered for enough to sustain your diet, The Horizon was the best for choices, A lot of the restaurants had quite poor choices for diets.
There was lots to do, But their was massive overcrowding on the Infinity area, The Sky dome, And the Beechcomer adults area, & Hot Tubs, People with Babies in Hot tubs, Kids running riot in hot tubs & pools with little supervision from parents, NO lifeguards or interaction from Staff concerning what I thought wasn’t actually allowed, The sun beds also were kept for ages with towels on and absent sunbathers.
Sorry for moaning, I love Children but it was very stressful at times.
The Sindhu & Green & Co were a amazing, The Staff also amazing in those restaurants, The Quays was good, Olive Grove not so good.
The Meridian was ok, 6th Street diner was basic for Vegetarians, And they were embarrassed we’d actually asked about options, ( Not their fault though ) The Limelight club entertainment was fab with Andy Abraham, But the food was quite Pitiful in all honesty.
I’d found a sunbed on Deck 8 in the end to chill in the afternoon for some peace & quiet.
The Afternoon ice-cream tea at Ripples was also worth it as a treat & much enjoyed.
My favourite Port was Cadiz, Absolutely stunning.
I’d wished I’d stayed on the Ship for the rest, Also I chose not to go to Barcelona for a few reasons, But I’d already been a few times before.
My Cabin was good size wise & I loved the Balcony, Unfortunately i never had more than a few hours sleep due to the Horizon Buffet noise above at all hours, The vibration of the engine and other various sounds in the cabin that i couldn’t comprehend where they came from?? 15602 ( ) Overall after the moaning descriptions of the holiday, It was a good holiday mostly.
Just worried what it would be like when it’s school holidays and for that reason I probably won’t go on Arvia again & look for a different cruise line.
Many thanks for Bolsover Cruise Club for all the help though from day one of booking, You were actually AMAZING !
