Loved the classic design of this ocean liner.
Beautifully refitted, every public area was spotlessly clean.
All the food was amazing wherever we ate, great quality and tasty.
The quality of the Cunard speakers was of the highest calibre and we very much enjoyed the variety of live music and entertainment.
All the Spa treatments I received were professionally delivered by friendly staff.
We had booked a sheltered balcony cabin on Deck 5 Midship, a great choice.
We hardly felt any movement at all and it was spacious and comfortable.
The service given was where this rating lost a star.
It varied from good to perfunctory.
Too many staff were NOT smiling and welcoming.
Unfortunately our cabin steward was poor.
He did not keep our tea and coffee station well stocked up.
We had no milk sachets delivered to our cabin after a couple of days and when asked about this he said there was a problem with supplies and didn’t seem bothered about rectifying this for us.
In fact I got into the habit of ordering glasses of milk from room service each day and put that in our fridge.
It was our 1st time cruising with Cunard, previously have cruised with PO and Silversea and with both of them we have received much better, in fact excellent and consistent service.
