Booking with Bolsover was so easy this time we changed from a June 22 to above, because of lockdown etc we were desperate for a holiday, Bolsover sorted this out for us no problems at all.
We did not want to risk a coach journey so decided to drive and used Triangle which was no more than 4 minute walk from Ocean terminal.
Covid testing took place at terminal and then on board IONA.
Fabulous looking ship both outside and inside, luxurious decor everywhere.
Big improvements in our balcony cabin very impressed.
We tried most of the special restaurants and found them all excellent value for the quality and choice of food on offer, except for the Beach House which would not recommend.
The price of drinks was comparable with a decent pub or restaurant in UK.
The shops we found were quite expensive and not any really good offers tempt you to buy.
All the staff were fabulous and so glad to see us, the Captain was very people orientated and was walking around every day taking and getting feedback on the ship.

Entertainment during the day was none existent all that was on was talks by spa team, jewellery teams trying to sell goods.
The 4 screen cinema was open everyday but films were poor in our opinion.
Evening entertainment was good first week but poor second.
The skydive entertainment had to be cancelled twice due to weather.
All in all we really enjoyed the cruise and all the filling of forms and testing was well worth it.
The itinerary was good shame Cadiz was cancelled for operational reasons but overnight in Lisbon more than made up for it.
