We eventually got to Southampton after the A34 was closed and found another route but some people weren’t so lucky and missed the sailing.
Reminder to self stay overnight near Southampton.
Boarding was fast, staff very friendly.
Cabin Deck 14 , 314 not a sun trap but quiet.
Bit rocky in near gale force winds but nothing to worry about .We ate mostly in the Bay Tree restaurant in the evening.
Service from John second to non and a very helpful wine waiter too.
Food was very good beef wellington being exceptionally delicious.
Portions were not too large but never left hungry.
Choice of wines from the list our drinks package allowed us were very good and varied.
Watched some of the entertainment Tom Ball from Britain’s got talent excellent as were the Trawlermen.
One show called Astonishing was spectacular and it was great that there was a live band on the ship too.
The ship is maybe in need of a refit but all areas were clean if a little dated.
The ports visited were interesting with Lisbon being extremely busy as there was a bank holiday.
So definitely need to go again when it’s quieter.
There was plenty to do on sea days, quizzes, dance lesson , the gym and much more .
Never been on P&O before but would definitely consider again.
All in all a very good holiday cruise.
