I had cruised for many years with my husband but sadly he passed away last year and he didn’t get the opportunity to sail on Iona.
I decided to take my daughter to the Fjords and booked a suite as this was what he would have loved.
I was impressed by all the facilities on the ship, it’s a large ship but quite easy to get around once you’ve been on it for a couple of days.
Our suite was really comfortable, a real treat.
If I’m honest I felt that I really preferred a slightly smaller ship as it seemed a little impersonal although the staff without exception were wonderful..
My next cruise is on Britannia which together with Azura are my favourite ships.
