Cabin was as expected but we did need to have repairs to the balcony door that would not open and a leaking tap that was replaced.
Food was good and staff very helpful.
Only disappointment was with the daytime entertainment on sea days. The majority of events on offer were ‘sales pitches’ for shore excursions or onboard shops.
We like to learn about destinations we will be visiting rather than just the shore excursions on offer.
We also look forward to listening to the Guest Speaker but only found 2 (by the same speaker) despite 5 sea days
Four formal nights were too many for us and, having experienced Celebrity Cruises recently, we prefer the ‘Evening Chic’ where dressing up is encouraged but without the formality of Black tie. On this cruise it appeared that only around 50% of those who ate in the main dining room, honoured the Black tie rule
