Despite our concerns about adverse reviews on this ship, we were really pleased with our trip.
Our cabin was very tidy and comfortable, as were all the public rooms.
The staff were very helpful in every aspect.
We enjoyed table 61 in Meridian restaurant so much that we asked for it for the rest of the holiday.
Freedom dining worked well by just arriving and being directed to a seat.
Didn’t use the app after the first day, it was not necessary.
The day lectures ( architecture ) were very interesting.
As always the Headliners worked incredibly hard and always gave us a brilliant show.
The guest acts were also of a good standard.
Very little port information given, so for new cruisers, it is not as easy as it used to be.
The only drawback for us was travelling to Birmingham to fly there, a total of 12 hours travel each way for only one weeks holiday– would go for longer, but prefer Southampton departures.
All transportation was efficient and prompt.
