I was very disappointed when I got aboard Arcadia.
This is the first cruise I’ve done since being Gluten free.
Talking to a friend who had done a few since he was Gluten free and he told me, that they get you to see the head chef and he’ll talk you through what I can have and what they could do for me.
I had a Gluten free scone with jam and cream, but the cream was squirty cream and not clotted cream.
Very surprised on an English ship! There is a snack bar, next to the pool, were you can get burgers, chicken and hot dogs, with a sign Gluten free available! But, you could only get some chicken that they got from the freezer, wuthering chips.
The chicken wasn’t edible, so I only had the chips!! They also had my wife down as being Gluten free and not me.
No Gluten free biscuits for our cabin.
This was an extra cruise as a surprise for the wife and a chance to see what it’s like for the Gluten free.
We go on Britannia in a few weeks, so I hope P&O read this and I have a better experience, fingers crossed?
