We had a very good time on this cruise

Our second tlme on Arvia having done 21 nights Naming/ Transatlantic cruise in March so we knew what to expect.

Boarding and debarking was excellent.

The cabin 12710 was fine, a great location with a decent size balcony.

The steward was ok, if a bit hard pressed at times ( he had 22 cabins to service.

The MDR dining was just ok.

We tried all the extra fee restaurants which were as expected apart from Sindhu which is very much a watered down version of the original Atul Kochar concept and frankly not worth the extra.

Many more, younger, new to cruising folks on board .

The relaxed dress code in the evening produced some “sights” Even on the two black tie nights, there were people still in beach wear.

The entertainment was very familiar to regular P&O cruisers so nothing we hadn’t seen before.

The best night was in the Limelight with La Voix, outstanding, highly recommended.

The service was ok but the crew, less engaging than the many we’ve had before.

Like everywhere, onboard drink prices are creeping up but still reasonable to those of us who live in the London/SE area.

Overall, the cruise was much as expected but the Arvia might not appeal to traditional P&O stalwartd.
