Arrived at Southampton by car drove into the dock and my first thought what have it done.
Checked in the luggage and and was soon on board which was very fast in fact no time just a few minutes.
Now we come to the ship which has very nice lounges.
This ship has been designed to fit as many cabins in as possible,I had a deluxe balcony cabin and it was small.
There is not enough staff in the restaurant, you have one person serving you, first he takes the drinks order then goes off to get the drinks when he comes back then dinner order is taken.
As for this booking on board for restaurants and the theatre the system must have been designed by a first year IT student.
In general I would say you will find it very layer back, no need to bring a jacket for the evening only for the black tie event.
You will find that men still wear shorts in the evening, when the dress code says no short.
One last thing decide to disembark and carry my own luggage, take the lift to deck six.
At 6.30 we are standing shoulder to shoulder waiting for about twenty minutes.
Two days later I test positive for covid.
In general P&O need to step up their game.
Would I go on Arvia again maybe, then again maybe not.
