First time we have cruised P&O, and it was a very good experience from boarding at Southampton to leaving after 2 weeks holiday.
The staff do a wonderful job, especially the cleaners.
The covid protocol was in place and enforced as much as practicable.
The dining options were excellent, plenty of choice, we tried the Olive Grove and paid the supplement, of only £4.50 each, food delicious as it was in the non payment ones too.
We didn’t have a drinks package but opted for pay as you go, which suits us well.
With the ship being 70% capacity we never had to que, using the app to dine and book shows was ok once we got into it.
The entertainment bands, singers & illusionist were all excellent.
We also used the cinema.
The favourite for me was the atrium pianist, so relaxing.
The only disappointment for us was the acrobatic/ juggling show that was poor at best.
Our inside cabin was very comfortable, 10135, booked on a saver fare.
If we wanted to be super picky, it was a shame there were no drawers in the cabin and the butter was always very hard, with no alternative margarine on offer.other than that faultless! We would certainly cruise with P&O again on the Iona, or one of their other ships.
