All the staff were amazing.
Our steward Wilson on deck 12 was fantastic, and changed our bed configuration for us on arrival without any issues.
he greeted us every day with a friendly smile, and left our room spotless daily.
All bar staff were were attentive and made sure drink orders were processed without delay- with the exception of the Crows nest- where we had to cancel a drink order after waiting over 30 mins as our dinner reservation was ready.
Honestly- its was such a great experience for the full week.
Virtual dining was fantastic, there wasn’t much of a wait and you could enjoy a drink while waiting to be called.
Food was all amazing.
Staff in security during shore visits were always friendly and smiling- and they must have been freezing stood there in the doorways all day.
If I could recommend one improvement, it would be the day we disembarked.
We were given a time to be in a meeting place- which we followed, and in the theatre it was chaos, a young lady trying to organise people did not go well, she did not explain why she was placing people in certain areas of the theatre, and then there was chaos when she released a few rows, and random people got fed up and just decided to leave on their own accord.
This needs organising much better by more staff.
We had a time slot to be at our coach and were almost 2 hours late for it.
The disembarkation drill did not work and everyone was moaning about it all the way home on the coach.
If I cruise again I will disembark myself with my own cases to avoid the confrontation.
It was not a nice experience.
my group sat where we were told on arrival, and waited patiently for our turn for almost an hour, then the staff member forgot about us and let people go through who had just sat down…
it left a bitter taste in my mouth and was not a good end to the holiday.
The staff member was sarcastic- saying “she was not security” and just let people go .
It was embarrassing.
The Inter-cruises coach driver was also a complete let down compared to the amazing Tim we had at the start of the holiday.
On the way home a man announced the driver would not be stopping but driving straight through to Sheffield, then he stopped at Northampton, got out of the coach and didn’t tell us what was happening.
we had to get off the coach and ask his if this was a break- and how long we had until he set off again, there was no announcements at all.
He then called a register before setting off, but we couldn’t hear this as he still had radio 1 blasting out far to loud and we kept asking him to turn the radio off as we couldn’t hear him- he ignored us and kept shouting names over the music.
There were actually 2 people missing from the coach so he had to go and look for them- If he had given clear instruction what time to return this also would have helped.
He turned the air con off and we were all way too hot, and the Radio 1 continued very loud for the whole journey.
We felt like an inconvenience to his day- he needs to work on his customer services skills.

Disembarkation in theatre 10th May- apauling- please organise this better as it out a real dampener on the week

I will cruise again- its not put me off.
