I’ve just returned from another fabulous cruise on my favourite ship Aurora.
She is my second home and the most friendly ship anyone could travel on.
The weather was excellent, which really enhanced the holiday.
There were only 144 passengers on the cruise who had not travelled on Aurora previously, which certainly says something about her.
As always the crew were there to assist when needed, and a lovely bar steward, Sherry, in the Crows Nest served our drinks with great efficiency.
The entertainment was varied – some better than others – but the Headliners Theatre Group were, as always, superb.
One drawback for me was the dire selection of products in the on board shops – some of the clothes have been there for years, as they are so shapeless and unfashionable.
However, everything else was most enjoyable and, after 19 nights aboard this lovely ship, I am now looking forward to spending 16 nights at Christmas and New Year on her.
