Due to the cancellation of a River Cruise on 7th August we contacted Bolsover at the suggestion of friends and later that evening secured two double Staterooms for ourselves and our friends.
On 9th August with some trepidation, having never been on a sea cruise, the four of us joined the ship.
Once we adjusted to the size of the ship we settled down and thoroughly enjoyed our cruise.
The hospitality food and service were excellent and the only down side was that it was the school holidays and hence many children and families on board who tended to swamp the swimming facilities.
Since all in our party were over 65 we could not compete with the early morning scramble for sun loungers! Never the less we had a wonderful holiday and will certainly Cruise again but outside school holidays and next time fly to join the ship to reduce the time at sea between excursions.
