This was our third Royal Caribbean cruise and the standard across all three ships was similar.
We like this size of ship, around 2000 passengers, as it is not too large to get lost and you can meet up with newly made friends easily.
Also you can become acquainted with crew and engage in conversation as the numbers are relatively low.
The food was available in a number of places including – The Windjammer an adequate help yourself format – The Great Gatsby Restaurant was good quality and selection, and the waiter staff very pleasant.
Entertainment was mostly fine – you should not expect West End stars on a cruise – and served to fill time when at sea or of an evening.
The dance classes, quizzes and game shows can be fun but be selective as so much depends on fellow passengers! Prices on board are keen, but then that is so for all cruises as you are a captive audience.
