We went on the Independence as it was my birthday & we had a good deal.
We were with another couple.
Our 1st disappointment was when my partner enquired to put a birthday message in the daily newsletter.
It would cost 25 dollars!!! I couldnt believe it; we all thought it would be complimentary.
Next, the entertainment.
I actually thought it was poor and a bit old-fashioned.
There wasn’t enough variety.
Once you had seen the main show there wasn’t much else to do except listen to music in one of the bars.
As all the prices were in dollars I think it is expensive for the drinks, photos etc.
I couldn’t fault the staff and service.
The main promenade is great; but again I’m afraid I actually missed the ‘atrium’.
I’m not saying I wouldn’t sail on this ship again but it would have to be a bargain.
1’m looking forward to sailing with P&O again-the entertainment programme was fantastic.
