I have given IOS only a 2″ rating overall purely because the captain has reinstated smoking both in the Casino and Schooner bar areas.
It’s supposed to be in certain areas but you know what people are like – also smoke drifts over into the non smoking areas and if you want to walk through in order to access the main dining rooms the next morning the smell of stale cigarette smoke is awful.
We were so disappointed and because of this will NEVER cruise with RCI again unless they change the policy to outside smoking areas only.
Such a shame.
For anyone that smoke doesn’t bother them or they smoke themselves go for it – the ship has a lot to offer especially with service, comfort and entertainment.
Food was great with the exception of the steaks! When we got off our coach we checked in and were in our stateroom within 10 minutes which was fantastic.
We found the ship’s crew were the friendliest yet after 15 cruises.
