We had an amazing holiday, as always the ship was awesome, staff amazing and food delicious.
However we had a slightly different experience of RCI this cruise and had some issues that irritated us and many others, from comments heard ….
but did not spoil our holiday .
The majority of the ships guests appeared to be on drinks packages, this may be the reason for the additional demand on the bar areas, which did not take long to get congested in view of the layout and smaller size of the bars on the navigator.
The staff that were on duty were unbelievably hard worked but there was noticeably much ,much less staff to cope with the demand creating long delays for ordering drinks,, clearing tables and increasing crowds at the bar to place orders.
We felt so sorry for the few staff coping with all this …
Have to say they remained polite, professional and unbelievably good natured despite the noticeable pressure.
The second issue was the sunbeds …
It is the only cruise I have ever been on that we have had to resort to,along with many others , to lying on towels on the actual deck as there were not enough sunbeds or chairs available.
This was seen every time when at sea and all areas around the ship.
